Butternut Squash Pasta

Butternut squash pasta by Skinny taste! If you are craving pasta this is it! (I use gluten free Jovial Foods penne) you can swap the protein for anything, or leave out. I would use bison, grass-fed beef or organic ground turkey. The sauce is completely made of butternut squash! I love finding recipes that incorporate eating your vegetables in a different way! Season to taste and you can add more spice with red pepper flakes.

Meal prep tip: steam and blend butternut squash and store in an airtight container earlier in the day so you can just pour in when ready, also pre chop/mince garlic and shallots. With a little meal prep this dinner came together in under 20 min.
