Smash Burgers and Sweet Potato Fries
Who doesn’t love a good burger! This recipe by Dr. Mark Hyman is my families favorite way to enjoy a flavor filled burger. I believe that most meals can truly nourish our bodies when we choose the right ingredients and read our labels. Good quality meat is key to getting the right nutrients and protein. I love Force of Nature meats because they are regeneratively raised and grass-fed. I made the burgers with Force of Natures ancestral grass-fed beef blend. It is packed with B vitamins and nutrients! You could always buy organic grass-fed beef or organic ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. The special sauce on the burger makes this meal! I love Primal Kitchen avocado mayo and Grillo’s pickles when making the sauce. Also, remember when picking produce to buy organic, when possible to avoid unnecessary pesticides and chemicals. Sliced organic sweet potatoes tossed in avocado oil and seasoned with salt and pepper baked at 400 for 45-60 min (toss/flip half way through to cook evenly)are the perfect pairing!
